For years, Scott has been documenting urban wildlife with his custom built video camera traps. Using Nikon D850s and Z7 cameras, he captured 100s of hours of intimate wildlife moments from all over Los Angeles. Fill lights were used for daytime triggers and full light set ups for nocturnal triggers. Because this filming is done in an urban setting, animals are not affected much by the artificial light because they are already living near human environments. And, for the most part, nocturnal animals are far more sensitive to sound than they are to light, allowing the cameras to capture their normal routines.
